விளக்கம் · Explanation
ஒரே நிகழ்கால இடைநிலை “-கிற்-”; விகுதியே நபரைக் காட்டும். அவன் → -ஆன், அவள் → -ஆள், அது → -அது, அவர்கள் → -ஆர்கள், நீங்கள் → -ஈர்கள்.
The present marker -கிற்- stays the same; only the final ending changes for who does it: செய்கிறான் he, செய்கிறாள் she, செய்கிறது it, செய்கிறார்கள் they, செய்கிறீர்கள் you (respectful).
திணை வேறுபாடு முக்கியம்: உயர்திணை (மக்கள்) → -ஆன்/-ஆள்/-ஆர்/-ஆர்கள். அஃறிணை (பொருள்/விலங்கு) → ஒன்று -அது (செய்கிறது), பல -அன (செய்கின்றன).
Mind the class (திணை): people (rational) take -ஆன்/-ஆள்/-ஆர்கள்; things and animals (irrational) take -அது for one (நாய் ஓடுகிறது) and -அன for many (நாய்கள் ஓடுகின்றன).
