நிகழ்-எதிர்கால பெயரெச்சம் “-உம்” என்று முடியும்: படி → படிக்கும், போ → போகும், ஓடு → ஓடும். இது பழக்கத்தையோ இயல்பையோ காட்டும்: படிக்கும் பெண் (a girl who studies / will study).

The present-future relative participle ends in -உம்: படி → படிக்கும், போ → போகும், ஓடு → ஓடும். It shows a habit or a general truth: படிக்கும் பெண் = the girl who studies, ஓடும் தண்ணீர் = running water.
