செய்துவிடு, போய்வா, சாப்பிட்டுவிடு, செய்துகொள் — எச்சம் + வினை கூட்டம்.

“சாப்பிட்டுவிடு!”, “போய்வா!” என்று இரு வினை சேர்ந்த சொற்களைப் பேசினீர்கள். முதல் வினை எச்சமாகவும் (செய்து), இரண்டாம் வினை முற்றாகவும் சேர்ந்து புதிய பொருள் தரும்.

You already said சாப்பிட்டுவிடு! (eat it up!) and போய்வா! (off you go!). The first verb appears as a participle (செய்து) and the second carries the inflection — together they make one new meaning.

விதிகள் · The rules

இறந்தகால வினையெச்சத்தோடு துணை-வினை சேர்ந்து கூட்டு வினை அமையும்.

விதி 1

கூட்டு வினை = முதன்மை வினையின் எச்சம் (செய்து, சாப்பிட்டு) + துணைவினை (விடு, வா, கொள்). எச்சம் பொருளைத் தரும்; துணைவினை நிறைவு/திசை/தன்வினைச் சாயலைச் சேர்க்கும்.

A compound verb is the main verb's participle (செய்து, சாப்பிட்டு) plus a helper verb (விடு, வா, கொள்). The participle gives the meaning; the helper adds a shade — completion, direction, or 'for oneself'.

‘விடு’ துணைவினை செயலின் நிறைவையும் முற்றுப்பெறுதலையும் காட்டும்.

விதி 2

‘விடு’ முற்றுப்பெறுதலைச் சேர்க்கும்: ‘சாப்பிட்டுவிட்டான்’ (ate it all up), ‘சொல்லிவிட்டேன்’ (I have said it, done). ‘போய்விட்டான்’ = அவன் போய், திரும்பான்.

The helper விடு marks completion: சாப்பிட்டுவிட்டான் (he ate it all up), சொல்லிவிட்டேன் (I have said it, fully). போய்விட்டான் = he has gone (and that's that).

‘கொள்’ துணைவினை செயலின் பயன் செய்வோனையே சேருதலைக் காட்டும் (தன்வினை).

விதி 3

‘கொள்’ தன்வினைச் (reflexive) சாயல்: ‘கற்றுக்கொண்டான்’ (learnt for himself), ‘செய்துகொண்டேன்’ (did it for myself). ‘வா’ திசை சேர்க்கும்: ‘போய்வா’ (go and come back).

The helper கொள் makes it reflexive — the benefit returns to the doer: கற்றுக்கொண்டான் (he learnt, for himself), செய்துகொண்டேன் (I did it for myself). வா adds direction: போய்வா (go and come back).
