விளக்கம் · Explanation

நபர்களைச் சுட்டும் சொற்கள்: நான், நீ (நெருக்கம்), நீங்கள் (மரியாதை), அவன், அவள், அவர் (மரியாதை), அவர்கள் (பலர்).

People-pronouns: நான் I, நீ you (informal), நீங்கள் you (respectful or plural), அவன் he, அவள் she, அவர் he/she (respectful), அவர்கள் they (people).

பொருள்களைச் சுட்ட “அது” (ஒன்று), “அவை” (பல). அருகில் இருந்தால் “இது / இவை”. நெருக்கமாகப் பேசினால் “நீ”; மரியாதையாக “நீங்கள்”.

For things use அது (it) and அவை (they/those). For something near you, use இது (this) / இவை (these). Choose நீ for close friends and children, நீங்கள் for elders and strangers — respect is built into the pronoun.
