ஒரு பயணம் எங்கிருந்து தொடங்கியது என்பதைக் காட்டவும் “இலிருந்து” பயன்படும்: ஊர் → ஊரிலிருந்து, வீடு → வீட்டிலிருந்து, சென்னை → சென்னையிலிருந்து.

The ablative -il iruntu also marks the starting point of a journey — where you came or set out from. ஊர் → ஊரிலிருந்து (from town), வீடு → வீட்டிலிருந்து (from home), சென்னை → சென்னையிலிருந்து (from Chennai).

“கு / க்கு” சேருமிடம், “இலிருந்து” புறப்படுமிடம் — இவை எதிரெதிர். “வீட்டிலிருந்து பள்ளிக்கு” = from home to school. வா, புறப்படு, திரும்பு வினைகளோடு பழகுங்கள்.
