விளக்கம் · Explanation
நிபந்தனை அமைக்க இறந்தகால அடிக்கு “-ஆல்” சேருங்கள்: வந்து → வந்தால், செய்து → செய்தால், படித்து → படித்தால். “வந்தால்” = if (it) comes. முடிவை அடுத்து வைக்கவும்: “மழை வந்தால் இருப்போம்.”
To make an if-clause, add -ஆல் to the past stem: வந்தால் (if … comes), செய்தால் (if … does), படித்தால் (if … studies). Put the result next: மழை வந்தால் இருப்போம் = if it rains, we'll stay.
எதிர்மறை நிபந்தனை “-ஆவிட்டால்”: மழை வராவிட்டால் (if it does not rain), படிக்காவிட்டால் (if you don't study). “செய்தால்” எல்லா இடம்-பால்-எண்ணுக்கும் ஒன்றே — மாறாது.
The negative if-clause uses -ஆவிட்டால்: வராவிட்டால் (if … doesn't come), படிக்காவிட்டால் (if … doesn't study). One form செய்தால் fits every person, gender and number — it does not change.

மூன்று நிபந்தனை வாக்கியங்கள் சொல்லுங்கள்: ஒன்று மழையைப் பற்றி, ஒன்று படிப்பைப் பற்றி, ஒன்று “-ஆவிட்டால்” எதிர்மறையில். “… தால் …” என்னும் அமைப்பைப் பயன்படுத்துங்கள்.
Make three if-sentences: one about rain, one about study, one negative with -ஆவிட்டால். Follow the pattern …தால் … (if …, then …), e.g. நேரம் இருந்தால் வருவேன்.
