“கையும் களவுமாக” = திருடும்போதே, ஆதாரத்துடன் பிடிபடுதல். “தலைவலி” = உண்மையான தலைவலி மட்டும் அல்ல; தொல்லை, சிக்கல் என்றும் பொருள்.

கையும் களவுமாக means caught in the very act, with the evidence (lit. 'with hand and theft'). தலைவலி (headache) doubles as 'a nuisance, a hassle' — just like in English.
