   The past tense begins
2. 2 வந்தேன், போனேன்
   Came and went: irregular pasts
3. 3 சாப்பிட்டேன், பார்த்தேன்
   Ate and saw
4. 4 சொன்னேன், கொடுத்தேன், இருந்தேன்
   Said, gave, was
5. 5 செய்தது, செய்தன
   When things did it: past in அஃறிணை

   Have done: the perfect
7. 7 செய்துகொண்டிருக்கிறேன்
   Was/am doing: the continuous

   The future tense begins

   It will happen: the -உம் future
10. 10 வழக்கமாகச் செய்கிறேன்
    Habits & present-as-future

    Did not: past negation

    Will not: future negation
13. 13 செய்வதில்லை; இல்லை, அல்ல
    Does not; and இல்லை vs அல்ல

    Commands: imperatives
